One can never wrestle enough with God if one does so out of pure regard for the truth. Christ likes us to prefer the truth to him because, before being Christ, he is truth. If one turns aside from him to go toward truth, one will not go far before falling into his arms.
— Simone Weil (Waiting for God, p. 27)

Welcome to the site of writer and spiritual teacher, Jeff Munnis. This site contains resources for those seeking illumination and oneness with God. The material is especially useful for individuals who are drawn to the life and wisdom of Jesus Christ, however the information can be applied by anyone who desires wholeness and a deep, inner transformation of their being.

Jeff, the author and channel of the revelatory texts presented throughout the site, and his wife, Stelli, have been studying this material since 2003 when Jeff gave his first spiritual reading. Studying the material presented here and in Jeff's books is like being handed a set of keys that can unlock the mysteries of your existence and purpose in this world. This process has been called self-realization, illumination, and enlightenment, and the realization of this process is the revelation of God in a human being.

Karma

Understanding Karma One might like to think that if we do something harmful, and then suffer harm in return, all karmic debts have been paid. But karma requires more than suffering. Karma requires us to reach a point of realization, a point of understanding, where our consciousness is changed and the conditioning is removed. . . . Read more

Meditation

Basic and Christ-Centered Meditation Meditation by itself is not sufficient for a person to achieve complete realization of God. A Christ-centered meditation practice seeks the full realization of God in the life of the person meditating and is founded on the principle that unity with God already exists. God is here, now, everywhere, always. . . . Read More

I can’t give you the experiences of my visions, my revelations, or of my discoveries, all of which are so intimately tied to this man [Jesus] who revealed God to me through his presence, through his life and through his words. Everyone has to do that work on their own. Maybe he is the one for you, maybe not. I say this with all sincerity and with complete love and care for your self-realization as a human being: it doesn’t matter if you choose him or not. What does matter is that you discover love, that you have a curiosity about truth, that you seek your true identity, that you risk the journey inward. The birth of this man Jesus was a special event, an event that revealed the light that enlightens every human being. But to see that light you have to be willing to look at him in a special way and you need a heart that is willing to risk a path of love and compassion in the world. There are other teachers, other prophets, other masters, other gurus and all of them can work for you when you go forward with sincere intention. Some Christians don’t like to acknowledge this truth, or the contributions of other spiritual traditions, but don’t let them get in the way of you discovering the truly amazing love and beauty of the path that Jesus set before the world. This is a good time of year to reflect on the love, truth and revelation of Jesus. Every genuine spiritual teacher I have read and studied gives respect and acknowledges the special revelation of Jesus Christ. To acknowledge the light in others does not diminish his light, and his light does not cast anyone else into darkness.
