Breaking Karmic Patterns

2016-042 It is good to understand that karmic patterns or scripts, things that are repetitive behaviors or patterns of thinking, these things are understood and at the same time present in the intellect, especially the way that Jeffrey has described the intellect in different realms of consciousness. When one meditates and begins to understand the flow of thoughts and expressions, and consequently behaviors, meditation allows you to see these patterns and behaviors in its highest form in an objective or an observant perspective. Then the being is presented with choices and opportunities that break these patterns and change the perspective. These are also at the heart of the understanding behind the neural pathways in the brain, in the way they influence behavior and understanding, and they are even part of the way that the mind interprets stories, especially one’s own story or even the story in a book or a short story. These patterns exist, and all of this can be seen, again, perhaps with fresh eyes in the different levels of karma that are part of the different stages of consciousness. In addition to these individual patterns, we can see that others observe them in external phenomena, such that someone notices the search results in the Internet, and the bubble that people live in according to their choices, these are just manifestations of this deeper, spiritual truth that we create the world in which we live. There are specific ways out of this cycle and we can say specifically what these are, and they are familiar to you. But an unwavering pursuit of truth helps cut across these patterns, and breaks the patterns because it cuts through the illusion, the false thinking, and other forms of ignorance. And then there must be the acknowledgement of truth in the being and we can see that those people who see truth coming from a single source have problems, because the single source or the single voice is often a repetition of a pattern, and what is required or needed is the ability to acknowledge the truth wherever it is found. So first the pursuit of truth, to the acknowledgement of the truth wherever it is found, and then third is the willingness to apply or live this truth in one’s own life as part of one’s purpose. Four, self-realization is enhanced when there is the understanding that the three elements of truth we just described are personal and not universal. This is in part because one’s karma is personal. So the truth that is required or needed to break the patterns must be related to one’s own patterns and cannot always be applied to another person’s patterns or karma.
